Catwalk for a Cure was founded in April of 2010 by Bryan Finocchio after a college nursing professor was diagnosed with progressive stage 3 breast cancer.  In Bryan’s family he has had several family members and friends diagnosed throughout his lifetime.  He felt that with his interest in medicine, visual and performing arts, as well as event planning, this would be the perfect event.  After much thought and many hours of planning, Catwalk for a Cure was born.

The first event produced was on October 14th at The Liberty Hotel in Boston, MA where a portion of the nights proceeds was donated to The Massachusetts Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
